The Vision

“You have Cancer”.  Every day, people hear these words.

Most of us do know how devastating this can be, through our own experience, or that of a loved one or dear friend.  Your mind says …What do I do first?

Whom do I turn to?  How /Will I survive?  How do I keep up with my day

to day living expenses while undergoing cancer treatment?  Who will give

me emotional support?  How can I prepare myself to re-enter the world after such a life changing event and process?

Many new cancer patients are Women and they do not have either the financial or emotional support they need to focus on their first priority - healing!

The Vision of “A Place Called Home”, fondly called APCH, is to reach out to these women with an actual home where they can live while under-going  their cancer treatments, relieving them of the stress of day to day living while offering a loving community support.

The Vision is to model and prove-in an APCH Residence, then expand the idea and service nationwide.   The first model will launch in New Jersey, in honor of Missouri, a 2011 breast cancer survivor, and Jill & Russ Paul, who opened their home and hearts to Missouri. “A Place Called Home” where she could feel safe, taken care of and encouraged through her ordeal.

Our Mission:

Building Walls Against Cancer…Helping Women Win the Battle!

Providing a home with an eco-friendly environment where women
