Missouri, a Producer, Designer, Author, Artist… 

Hailing proudly from Newark, New Jersey, I am a multifaceted individual serving as a producer, designer, author, artist, mentor and a Breast Cancer Inspirational & Upliftment Leader. Referred to as "The Visionary," I play a key role in creating and overseeing STYLETAINMENT The Show, The GALA, and the development of the concept for A Place Called LOVE.

 

This past fall, I was deeply honored to receive recognition from the city of Newark, being acknowledged as a Fashion Icon. I extend my sincere gratitude to Mayor Ras Baraka and the unforgettable V. Moore, my dear friend. Whose memory rests in love and peace.

 

I titled my first book "My Journey to STYLETAINMENT: A Life Stitched Together" because my life has truly been a creative endeavor.

 

Commencing my journey in the world of fashion design at 280 Prince Street, Newark, NJ, Apartment 5F, I hosted my first fashion show at the age of 9 for my mother. The showcase featured my handcrafted design worn by my first Barbie doll. After the show, I told my mother one day I was going to do a BIG SHOW. Little did anyone anticipate that this young black girl from the projects would evolve into a distinguished Creative Visionary, embodying a heart that resonates with love, honor, and celebration.

 

From designing for shows, serving clients, nurturing my family, producing “The “BIG” Show, A Cancer Survivor's Story”, to crafting something out of nothing, I have stitched together the intricate fabric of my existence. Through the ups and downs, triumphs and setbacks, I've relied on the art of stitching to hold everything together, maintaining composure in one place.

 

Now, the time has come to exhale, release those stitches and allow the journey to unfold organically. I am giving you the best of me — amazing…amazing. Life truly is amazing and I am so bless to share it with you.
